Cosmetology

If your goal is to work in a fashion oriented, trend setting, hands-on environment,  then the world of cosmetology is waiting for you.  Cosmetology is an exciting field with many employment opportunities for you to explore.

At Piedmont Community College, the Cosmetology curriculum is designed to provide you with hands-on training in a simulated salon environment.  You will receive theoretical and practical instruction in all phases of professional imaging, hair design, chemical processes, skin care, nail care, multi-cultural practices, business/computer principles, product knowledge and other related topics.

The PCC Cosmetology program is also designed to fit your schedule.  You may attend full-time classes from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, or part-time classes from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Wednesday evenings.
